Case Study

Wheelock Family Theatre

Need

Wheelock Family Theatre needed a new website to replace their old clunky one. They had to create pages and managing landing pages for their shows and theater classes, all of which were constantly changing. And the design had to be updated.

Solution

Starting with a premium theme (to cut down on costs), I designed and created a dynamic new website for them, starting with wireframes for homepage, individual show page, season landing page, classes landing page, and individual class page. To make show-management easier, I created custom post types and custom templates, as well as a dynamically-generated landing page for the season that updates itself automatically based on the individual shows' opening and closing dates. To make class-management easier, I created custom post types and custom templates, as well as dynamically-generated class landing pages that automatically sort themselves based on class dates, ages, and times.

Results

The updated website is easy to navigate, beautiful, dynamic and easy to manage. The staff have an easier time keeping their content good-looking and up to date, and visitors have a smoother experience every time.
