Need
The New York Hall of Science produced a suite of learning mobile apps for teachers to use. The apps all allow teachers to share photos of projects, lesson plans, and general tips. The new website needed to both advertise these apps, and allow teachers and students to connect and share their related work.
Solution
The new WordPress site brings it all together. There are custom post types for the apps, and each gallery item, lesson and tip is associated with one of the apps. The app pages show the lessons and gallery items associated with it, and the lesson and tips pages show which apps are used for the various items.
Results
Everyone can make good use of the site and the apps to share information and ideas.
