I wrote a book called WordPress Complete, published by Packt Publishing. This is a complete rewrite from the first version of this book, which was published in 2006. Now the book has been reorganized and rewritten almost entirely from scratch, with everything you need to know to install and administer and WordPress blog or website, as well as how to write plugins and widgets.

Themes
I’ve created one public theme, which was used as the example in WordPress Complete. It’s called Muffin Top. Click the thumbnail for a larger screenshot; click the link below to download the theme. This theme is WordPress 2.7 compatible and widget-ready. I have many improvements in mind (i.e. more unique template pages), but it works just fine as is.
Below is a list of sites running WordPress and using custom Springthistle themes. These are all unique themes, meaning they were created for a particular client and are not available for anyone else’s use. Browsing the list below can give you an idea of the scope of possibilities available.
