Text Snippets – WordPress Plugin

I have found this plugin to be very useful on WordPress driven non-blog websites I’ve written, especially when there are a large number of non-technical people editing the site.

Description

This is the second released version of this plugin. It allows you to create an unlimited number of simple text snippets. The default is 3 but you can change this by editing the first line of the plugin file.

Directions

The usual. Just upload the plugin and activate it. Then you can navigate to Tools>Text Snippets and enter text for your text snippets. To make the text show up in your template file, use the function get_textsnippet(ID), replacing ID with the ID number of the snippet you want to show up.
