I first began work on this site in February 2008, when it needed to be reskinned while living on a different server. Then in 2011, UCF came back to me and asked me to move the entire site to a new server, building all of it from the ground up.
This included a new design, building the site in WordPress, and building a custom database and CMS (using the CakePHP framework) for managing their online date – quarterly reports, daily unit values, and more. The front-end of the site seamlessly shows WordPress content and custom database data, and the WordPress admin panel seamlessly allows administrators to update both WordPress and custom database content.
In the years since 2011, I’ve come back to make numerous front-end and back-end improvements and upgrades to the site.
