The main client-facing site is a WordPress-driven site with a plethora of custom shortcodes. It leverages the existing WordPress post objects to handle a variety of different types of content, making it easy for the synagogue staff to manage content. The site also uses some excellent plugins, some of them custom-hacked by yours truly, including CFormsII, WP-Shopping Cart, Post Expirator, and more.
The second part of the project was a custom application built with CakePHP (temporarily named BJ Forms App) that allows staff to create and manage event and event details and create new signup forms, and allows site visitors to register and pay for events.
The project was a massive undertaking that was a collaboration with Daniel of Kestin Technology who provided some of the strategizing and much of the project management. Design was provided by the client.
